Public Speaking Workshop – 4-Day Program
Our Public Speaking Workshop is a dynamic 4-day program that helps students develop essential speaking and presentation skills. This workshop is perfect for children looking to build confidence in expressing themselves in front of an audience.
When: Autumn School Holidays (Monday April 14, 2025 - Thursday April 17, 2025)
Duration: 90 Minutes per Day (12 PM-1:30 PM)
Ages: 7-12 years old
Program Structure:
Day 1: Introduction to Public Speaking
Overview of public speaking
Overcoming nervousness and building confidence
Introduction to body language and posture
Fun icebreaker activities
Day 2: Organising Your Thoughts
Structuring a speech or presentation
Writing a short, effective speech
Learning the art of storytelling to engage an audience
Understanding the importance of voice modulation
Day 3: Voice Control & Delivery Techniques
Practical exercises in voice projection and clarity
Using tone, pitch, and pace to engage listeners
Practicing the use of pauses for emphasis
Group practice to improve delivery
Day 4: Final Presentation
Students will deliver their speeches to the group
Constructive feedback from peers and the instructor
Celebrating each student’s progress and growth
